Lisbon BaixaAfter the earthquake of 1755 at which many parts of Lisbon were destroyed, a new center was reconstructed. Between Praça do Comércio, Rossio, Praça dos Restauradores, grid pattern streets arose. The Baixa is the downtown of Lisbon and both young and old people love Rossio.
